TWO borough car parks will close for one day this month whilst lining works are carried out.
The newly resurfaced car park at the Headless Cross/Evesham Road junction and the residents’ car park on Evesham road will be closed all day on Tuesday, July 30, so they can be lined.
The work is designed so residents can make the most efficient use of the space available.
Drivers are asked not to use the parking areas the night before as they may have access issues in the morning.
Matthew Mead, senior engineering and design technician at Redditch Borough Council, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the car parks and aim to keep this to a minimum.
“The completion of the lining will ensure that residents can get the best out of the new bays.”
