REDDITCH Conservatives say they have made a genuine offer to the borough’s Labour group to combine forces to help during the coronavirus.
It comes after Labour published its own helpine and email contact details for anyone needing assistance or offering to help.
“Our offer still stands to set aside party politics at this time of crisis and come together for the sake of our shared community,” said councillor Mike Rouse (Con, Church Hill).
“If Labour is serious about working with other community groups it might like to consider our genuine offer.”
He added that they were working on some schemes of their own such as a book exchange with volunteers are already deployed at the local level working with vulnerable communities directly.
