EVERYONE hit the ground bowling when outdoor play resumed at Inkberrow Bowls Club on Sunday.
The club is looking forward to an action-packed summer season – the start of its 30th anniversary year.
Club president Alan Slater said: “Everyone is welcome, we’re extremely hospitable – very friendly and good company.
“There will be free tea and cake, and the bar will be open.
“Bowls isn’t just for retired people. There’s free coaching for those who haven’t bowled before”.
Inkberrow will play 32 league matches throughout Worcestershire, 40 friendlies in Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire plus club competitions, before mid-September.
The club is holding its annual open day from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday May 10.
