A POLICE and Communities Together (PACT) meeting is to be held at Astwood Bank park this Saturday, June 23.
The move comes as summer and the school holidays loom and concerns are raised about possible anti-social issues at the park.
Local police officers will be there as will newly-elected borough Councillor Craig Warhurst (Con, Astwood Bank & Feckenham).
“I have been talking with partners and residents and we are all fed up with what’s been going on.
“There are so many complicated issues I felt it was just best to get everyone together for a public meeting.”
The meeting is in the park itself from 10am to 11am and all residents are invited to come along to talk with council officials, the police and other partners.
“What better place to have a meeting about the park than the park itself, so we can all see what it is we are talking about and to discuss recent events to identify the real problems from the residents’ perspective,” said Coun Warhurst.
