A BRAVE pair from Redditch are getting the chop this Saturday and losing their locks in aid of charity.
Amanda Boyden, aged 42 and Corey Vale, aged 20, are both braving the shave to raise money for Cancer Research this weekend and they hope to people will come down and cheer them on.
From 12noon until 4pm the Winyates Centre will be open as Amanda and Corey – Amanda’s daughter’s partner – brave the shave and there will also be raffles, face painting, a bouncy castle and various stalls to keep people entertained with all proceeds going to the good cause.
Amanda will also be donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer combating chemotherapy.
