AN apprentice, a comedian, a Paralympian and a show host will be showing their solidarity against hate crime at a special event later this month.

As part of National Hate Crime Awareness Week from October 13-20, a special event is being held for local people to come together and share their experiences of hate crime.

Star speakers include businesswoman and ‘The Apprentice’ 2017 candidate Bushra Shaikh, Paralympic Gold Medallist Claire Cashmore MBE and radio broadcaster host Ray Khan.

Hosted by North Worcestershire Hate Incident Partnership at the Parkside Suite, Bromsgrove District Council, the event is on Friday, October 19 from 10am to 1pm and is open for anyone to attend.
