KIND-HEARTED volunteers from an electrical company organised a Christmas party for people in Studley with learning disabilities.
The Heart of England Mencap worked with the eight volunteers from National Grid to host the event at Studley Baptist Church on Friday (December 11).
The groups made sandwiches, cake pops, and decorations including the traditional paper chains.
Cath Errington, fund-raising manager for Heart of England Mencap, said: “We were delighted to have the support of National Grid to help our customers have a fantastic Christmas party. It was a brilliant event – and a brilliant day leading up to it – everyone was in full festive spirit. As a charity our resources are limited, and so having a team of helpers means we can really achieve more, and ensure that days like these are extra special.”
