A PASSENGER was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Redditch on Friday.
The collision, which involved a Honda Civic crashing into a tree on Studley Road, happened around 8.30am.
Police believe the driver lost control.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to the scene with the first crew arriving in two minutes.
The passenger, a man, was already out of the vehicle when crews arrived and was treated by ambulance staff for serious injuries before being taken by ambulance to Bimringham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The driver, another man, had also managed to get out of the car and was treated by medics for potentially serious injuries before being taken to Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for further treatment.
