PENNY DISBURY’S annual charity garden party held at The Piggery in Brodesly, Alvechurch was again a huge success.
Once a year, Penny opens her garden to the local community to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, Dementia UK an Help for Heroes.
Penny said: “It was a record breaking weekend, we served around 300 cream teas over four days.
It’s gone from strength-to-strength as lots of visitors come year after year and tell their friends about us.”
Penny’s three-acre garden is full of trees, flowers and beautiful decorations, making it a perfect setting for a garden party, especially during the sunny weather.
