Peter Andre to turn Redditch Christmas Lights on

RESIDENTS and visitors to Redditch town centre can enjoy some festive entertainment at this year’s Christmas Lights switch on, including an appearance and performance by Peter Andre.

The Redditch Business Improvement District (BID), are going to give visitors a festive treat starting on Saturday, November 25.

As well as the Carnival of Light Parade and food and craft stalls, people will be able to meet the Mysterious Girl singer who will also be performing live.

In addition to Peter Andre’s performance, attendees can look forward to a wide range of entertainment, including performances by local artists, festive music, delicious food vendors organised by CJs Events, and family-friendly activities.

The event will culminate in the grand illumination of the Christmas lights, transforming Redditch into a dazzling winter wonderland.

“This is an exciting moment for Redditch. The Christmas Light Switch On is always an eagerly anticipated event, and we’re thrilled to have Peter Andre as our special guest this year,” said Muj Rahman, Redditch BID Manager.




“We hope to create a magical atmosphere for the whole community and bring joy and cheer to everyone attending.”

The event will kick of at 12pm in the town centre, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Peter Andre at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre between 3:00pm and 4:30pm.


This will be followed by the Festival of Light parade by Redditch Carnival from 4.45pm and the Light Switch on at 5:30pm on Market Place.

The Christmas Extravaganza show will begin at 6:00pm in front of the Post Office, where visitors will be treated to a Magical Christmas show including a live performance by Peter Andre
