A REDDITCH physiotherapy practice is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
SPC Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre was established in 1964 by Margaret John. She qualified in 1948 from Cardiff Royal Infirmary School of Physiotherapy.
She was a founder member of many organisations within the profession.
The practice has grown and developed over time and having run a successful clinic in Studley for 42 years, the comapny moved into a larger purpose built clinic in North Moons Moat Redditch in 2006 where they continue to run the clinic today.
Mayor of Redditch Coun Juma Begum, and Coun Bill Hartnett visited the practice to celebrate the 60th anniversary.
Laura Lockwood, clinical operations director said: “We are extremely proud to be celebrating our 60th Anniversary this year as a family run business.
“I believe our success is based upon our excellent reputation which has been built upon the strong foundations of both Margaret John, Founder of SPC Physiotherapy and Rosemary John, Margaret’s daughter.
“We look forward to continuing to offer a first class service to all our patients in Redditch and the surrounding areas.
