POLICE are appealing for a young man who it is understood intervened during a rape in Church Hill – causing the offender to run off – to come forward.
The sexual assault happened last Saturday evening (July 25) in Greystone Close at around 9.30pm.
The offender was known to the victim and police are working to trace him.
Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident 133S of July 25.
