SOMETIMES a pathway is written in the stars…..
Brilliant Redditch resident and now ambassador for Macmillan Cancer Support Sonia Tudor – who ran 50 miles on her 50th birthday for the charity – first got in to running following the death of her beloved father at the age of just 58.
“It’s a bout six years ago – following the death of my mum and dad and I’d moved into their house in Webheath and I was searching through some stuff when I came across a black diary, one of those little booklet type things,” said Sonia.
“In it I discovered my dad had written a bucket list, in no particular order, one of which was to run the London Marathon.
“Well that was it, wasn’t it..” said Sonia.
