POLICE in Redditch are trying to track down a black Mercedes Benz G Wagon believed to have been involved in a crash with an e-bike on Birchfield Road on Tuesday night.
The collision at 7.40pm involved a 4×4, similar to the one pictured.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent one ambulance to the scene and crews found the rider of the e-bike had sustained substantial injuries. He was treated for those injuries before being taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
PC Lorren Southan said: “We are urging anyone who may have seen a vehicle like this in the local vicinity around the time of the collision to please get in touch.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage to support our investigation.”
