A NUMBER of bilking incidents – where drivers fill their cars up at petrol stations and drive off without paying – have happened in Redditch over the past few weeks.
Police have issued details in a bid to catch the culprits.
On Thursday, a black Mercedes A class, with the registration number YX70 KJF, drove off from a Redditch petrol station after filling up with £20.01 worth of fuel.
Last Sunday (April 21), a black Honda, registration number LV58 LEE, made off after putting £56.13 worth of diesel in the tank.
On April 16, £90.09 worth of diesel was taken from a Redditch petrol station by a driver in a white VW van, with the registration number GU15 FAU.
In Beoley, on April 11, a white Peugeot which had the registration number BA18 AXP, made off from a garage in Beoley after stealing petrol totalling £32.08.
And on April 4, a white VW which had the registration number F268 RHP, left the petrol station after filling up with fuel totalling £54.73.
