POLICE are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a blue Volvo estate wanted in connection with the theft of meat from a Studley business.
The incident happened at 12.30pm on Monday (May 8) at the Nurseries at Spernal Ash.
Two white men stole several joints of meat, worth £70, before getting into the Volvo and driving off towards Alcester.
The vehicle was followed by a concerned member of the public but it drove off at speed, going through a red light at road works.
The occupants realised they were being followed and threw bottles out of the car at the vehicle behind.
The registration number of the offenders vehicles may have started with ‘LS10’.
Further enquiries being made.
A police spokesperson said: “We are looking for any witnesses that may have seen this Volvo leave the nurseries, as the manner of their driving would have drawn attention it them.”
