Police appeal for witnesses after man assaulted outside Three Cooks

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident where an extremely vulnerable male was assaulted in Redditch between 4pm and 5pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

The assault is believed to have occurred when an unknown male has approached the victim near to The Three Cooks, Unicorn Hill, Redditch and asked for money.

When the victim has told the male ‘no’ he grabbed him by the coat, pushed him in to the middle of the road and then on to the floor, where he has hit him once to the face.

Witnesses should call PC 2601 Mary Hughes at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number, 101 ext 3752, quoting incident reference number 601s 200318.
