POLICE dog PD Gremlin sprung into action in Redditch to help catch two suspect car thieves.
The four-legged crimefighter hunted down the pair who ran from a stolen car which crashed in the town centre.
The scenario unfolded after the men were pursued by officers from Worcestershire Operational Patrol Unit.
The first suspect wisely gave himself up when challenged.
PD Gremlin then sniffed out the second who was hiding in a hedge. He ran into a building, only to be found second time.
Both men were arrested.
