POLICE pulled over a cyclist who was riding down the M42 near Alvechurch.
Officers from Worcestershire Operational Patrol Unit offered advice to the rider about the dangers of their actions.
Cyclists and pedestrians are not permitted on the motorway
The OPU officers said: “This is for a range of reasons – most significantly because it simply isn’t safe.
“We escorted him off the motorway and issued a ticket.”
