YOUTHS have been blamed for a fire at the nature reserve at Winyates Green.
Five small fires were spotted by the warden last Thursday (June 11) who immediately acted to stamp them out.
The fire service were alerted and firefighters using beaters dampened everything down.
The reserve has been the site of a number of acts of vandalism and has now been included on the daily beat of local police officers.
