POLICE patrols have been stepped up around Batchley Pond and Brockhill Park after reports of anti-social behaviour and interference with wild birds.
There are concerns about the birds and their nests after police were contacted by concerned residents.
Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, interfering with nests is a criminal offence.
Police warn they will be dealt with accordingly.
Anyone with concerns should call the Redditch Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams on 101 or 999 if interference of a nest is in progress.
