Police search for dog owner following vicious attack near Redditch Library

A VICIOUS dog attacked a man outside Redditch Library on Monday, November 4 and now police are trying to locate its owner.

The black and white border collie took a chunk out of the man after he bent down to stroke the owner’s other dog, a chihuahua.

The attack left the man with injuries on his shoulder.

PC Stokes of West Mercia Police said: “We’re really keen to hear from anyone who can help us identify the owner of the dog.




“The incident happened sometime between 4.45pm and 5.15pm.”

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 0196S of 5 November 2019.
