POLICE in Studley had a firework set off at them as they tried to deal with yobs in the Pool Road car park.
The incident happened at around 8.30pm last Thursday, October 25, following reports of rockets being set off towards the Air Cadets hut.
The behaviour was seen on CCTV and by members of the public who alerted the Police and gave them descriptions of the offenders.
When officers arrived they started to deal with the group but some ran off and it was while they were dealing with the remainder of the offenders that they were targeted, a firework launched from a nearby alleyway showering them in sparks.
Details of the vehicles involved and those present were recorded for further enquiries.
The following night, October 26, Police received reports of a about 15 people once again in Pool Road car park, again letting off fireworks, one of which hit the window of a nearby house.
