AN EXHIBITION of more than 500 creations by Redditch artists has gone on display in the Kingfisher Centre.
The collection opened earlier today opposite Clinton Cards until next Sunday, July 11.
Among those exhibiting are Philip Roberts, Bryonie Williams, Lyn Davies, Roger Ricketts, Mari Scotson and Sarah Hussey.
The pop-up gallery began in 2014 after discussions between Arts In Redditch and Kingfisher Centre manager Ken Williams about a lack of spaces for local artists to display their work.
Since then there have been displays in the centre bi-annually every year apart from 2020 because of Covid restrictions.
Philip said it was great to be back.
“More than 90 artists have exhibited over the past seven years and there are 37 who have work on show this time.
“Every medium imaginable is featured, from watercolours and oils to new materials, such as ceramics, fabric and felt.”
