THE POPULAR four-star Abbey Hotel in Redditch is undergoing a major £2million transformation.
The Abbey, which is set across 175 acres of stunning Worcestershire countryside, has already unveiled a new state-of-the-art gym called ‘Peak Gym and Spa’.
It features ‘Matrix’ equipment – one of the world’s finest fitness brands – and offers virtual active technology.
The next project, completed in December, was the refurbishment and expansion of Tawnys Bar into The Terrace Bar.
Its new contemporary decor, featuring golf design touches, compliments the stunning terrace with views overlooking the hotel’s championship 18-hole golf course.
The hotel has also undergone a major renovation of the reception and Bramblings Bar and Lounge.
It now boasts a beautifully bright new reception area, which flows through to the light and spacious public area and bar.
Abbey Hotel’s sales and marketing director, Phillip Allsopp, said: “I’m delighted by the transformation

The luxury hotel is preparing for its final phase of the refurbishment, with plans to revamp 30 bedrooms and hotel corridors by April.
The refurbishment has been styled by interior and architectural designers, Ads Designs, based in Tewkesbury.
Mr Allsopp added: “Overall the design features warm contemporary interiors, cutting edge technology and the little luxuries which are in keeping with the Abbey Hotel’s ethos of providing a warm welcome.”
