Popular Orchardfest returns to Bromsgrove to raise vital funds for the Primrose Hospice

Redditch Editorial 26th Jun, 2023   0

THE ANNUAL Orchardfest will be back at Puddle Wharf Farm in Bromsgrove for its seventh year to raise funds for the Primrose Hospice.

The charity and Puddle Party are putting together the festival full of family friendly music, food and fun in the sun on August 11 and 12.

Orchardfest started in 2016, organised by local hospice supporter Dave Morgan as an idea by his late wife Trish who said it would be great to hold a music event on the farm.

Dave and his family decided to run the event in her memory and it has gone from strength to strength since.

Last year alone, more than £26,000 was raised for the Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

Dave said: “We are so looking forward to Orchardfest 2023.

“As always, it is a great opportunity for us to showcase up and coming local talented musicians, as well as inviting back some firm favourites.

“The feedback over the years has been fantastic with people really enjoying the relaxed family- friendly setting, which is exactly what I set out to achieve.

“It has become an anticipated diary date for many to catch up with loved ones, family and friends whilst raising vital funds for Primrose.”

Dave is hoping this year will be the biggest attended yet to raise as much funds as possible for the cause.
