CREATIVE youngsters at Great Alne Primary School were rewarded for their hard work in a Firework Safety Poster and Poem Competition on Friday (January 15).
The winners of the event, organised by Warwickshire County Council’s Trading Standards and Fire and Rescue Services, were presented with a book token and a visit to their local fire station.
The annual competition helps warn children about the dangers of fireworks and sees students design a poster or write a poem that will help warn their peers of the possible dangers.
The winning entries will be used to support the 2016 campaign.
