In praise of a Redditch care home

A REDDITCH woman is singing the praises of a care home which took such excellent care of her mother that she is ‘lost for words’.

Veronica Beard, from Upper Bentley, said: “I cannot put into words how kind, caring and utterly compassionate all the staff at Cedars residential nursing home were when caring for my mother these past months.

“They simply could not do enough for her and I hope they get the credit they deserve for the exceptional level of care they provide.”

The care home in Batchley say they run on Christian teachings and offer care for a wide range of residents who need professional 24-hour care.

“As I stayed with my mum, Barbara Edwards, towards the end of her life, they cared for both me and my mother with absolute consideration and love and I want to thank them for that.

“Being in the home 24-hours a day with my mother gave me a real insight to the job they do, and everyone, from the cleaners to the carers gave 100% all of the time.

“Having a loving, sportive environment makes so much difference to people in the more difficult times and my whole family are grateful for the real compassion they showed,” she added.
