POLICE are to step up patrols around schools in a crackdown on inconsiderate parking in the Studley, Coughton and Mappleborough Green area.
The issue topped the latest Alcester North Safety Neighbourhood Team public poll, winning 36 per cent of the vote.
Officers will also be concentrating on general crime prevention patrols to give advice to vulnerable people and property (24 per cent) as well as tackling anti-social behaviour around the railway station in Henley-in-Arden (22 per cent).
The operation will run in tandem with all other police operations until March 2017 when the first public poll of the year on police priorities will be run.
The issues that failed to gain enough votes were extra patrols at vehicle crime hotspots and targeting poachers in the Spernal area.
