A REDDITCH-BASED lighting manufacturer has received an accolade for its creation of locally manufactured energy efficient product.
Tamlite Lighting’s ‘CIRCA’ luminaire product was named the Energy Efficiency Product of the Year at the Electrical and Data Centre Review Excellence Awards.
The annual awards recognised Tamlite’s product for its energy efficiency, high performance, low environmental impact and commitment to local supply chains.
CIRCA is a low profile, high performance circular light fixture for the retail sector, designed and manufactured entirely in the Midlands by Tamlite’s in-house product development team.
The award-winning product is designed to have replaceable components which prevent the need for entire product replacements, reducing manufacturing, materials and waste.
The light fixtures are also fitted with control systems to maximise energy efficiency, allowing for daylight dimming and presence detection as well as emergency options.
