A PROFESSIONAL cannabis grow was seized and one man was arrested after a police raid in Redditch earlier today.
Officers obtained an emergency warrant and the team, led by PC Stone, swooped on the address.
Hundreds of plants and equipment was confiscated and an Albanian man was arrested and taken into custody.
Police said the man was also wanted by immigration officials.
The raid was carried out after the community expressed concerns about the property with officers acting on locally provided intelligence.
It has been a proactive week for police in Redditch with three raids carried out.
In another in Flanders Close on Tuesday, a quantity of class A drugs were seized and a 59-year-old man was arrested.
And two people from Rednal were arrested when police stopped a car at the Tesco Extra petrol station. They found knives and drugs in the vehicle.
