PUPILS at St Bede’s Catholic Middle School learned how bullying can negatively affect people and what to do if they see someone getting bullied.
As part of the ‘Diana Award Anti-bullying Ambassador’ training, the pupils took part in several activities and games at Heathfield Knoll School, which were designed to give them a greater understanding of bullying.
They also learned how to support a child who is being bullied, and where they can go if they need extra support.
A spokesperson from St Bede’s said: “The day was very successful and the aims of the training were met by all pupils.
“It meant they were all given a lovely badge and a certificate to show they had listened and learnt throughout the day.”
