THIEVES stole a shotgun and a red Ducati Monster 1200 motorcycle when they raided a house on Stratford Road in Wootton Wawen.
Police say the thieves had crossed muddy fields to get to the back of the property.
They then used garden furniture to climb up onto balcony and forced their way into the house.
The thieves then broke open a locked cabinet to steal the shotgun, pocketed jewellery and keys for a car and the motorbike and then left through the front door, damaging the electric gates on their way out.
The incident happened between 7pm and 9.40pm on Wednesday, September 13 and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting crime number 0456 13/09/2017.
