AN urgent call for volunteers to get involved in making Redditch Carnival a reality has been issued.
The next meeting of the carnival committee is on Wednesday, August 7 at 7pm at Redditch Town Hall.
“There’s strong support for the return of the Redditch Carnival on social media but we now need people to come and join us at Town Hall to make things happen. It’s time for the community to spring into action and roll up sleeves,” said Councillor Mike Rouse, whose portfolio covers leisure events.
