PUPILS at Inkberrow First School put their best foot forward when they took part in ‘Country File’ ramble in aid of the Children in Need charity.
In all 123 pupils set off from school taking a number of different routes around the village, enjoying a nice walk in the sun, in the process raising £170 for those less fortunate than themselves.
Staff and pupils were inspired by the BBC’s Sunday teatime programme Countryfile which last year worthy things can happen if like minded people get out in the fresh air and go on a ramble for a good cause.
And such was the success of the Inkberrow venture that there’s even a chance their efforts will feature on the show in November.
