REDDITCH author Joy Pearson returns to her home town tomorrow for a talk about her debut suspense novel, ‘Untangling The Webs’.

Joy, who is a member of Redditch Local History Society, will be on hand to sign copies of her new book for Everywoman’s Circle at The Bridge Church at 7.45pm.

During her talk she will reveal her motivations for writing the novel which includes a life-threatening incident during a trip to Jerusalem.

Untangling the Webs is a page-turning novel exploring the indomitability of the human spirit, and follows the parallel lives of four women – two in their early forties, one in her sixties, and one of seventy-six.

Joy said: “I’m looking forward to coming back to Redditch after living in Cheshire for a while.

“I will be revealing exciting things about the book and also discussing how it came to be.”

The following evening she will be speaking to a group of budding writers on how to become a published author during a private event in Headless Cross.

She will be describing the pitfalls, difficulties and finally the joys on the road to publication.

Her book is selling well on Amazon and at several Waterstones in Worcestershire, where the book is set.

If anyone would like to get their hands on a signed copy of her engrossing book, they can contact her on 07778 122484.
