REDDITCH pop punk band Project Revise have released their latest single – with the help of nearly 70 fans from around the world.
‘Hold Your Ground’ by the three-piece outfit is a exhilarating power journey with a driving guitar line and features Jaret Reddick from the US band Bowling For Soup among the many joining them on the video.
And it’s a tale of our times too with contributors filmed in isolation and lyrics that tell of the pandemic.
“The lyrics really speak about the struggles people have gone through in lockdown,” said singer and guitarist Chris Tamburro who admits the band has seen some benefits from it.
“We’ve managed to pick up a lot of new followers thanks to social media,” he said.
“People have been missing live performance and as they’ve searched for new music they’ve found us.”
Project Revise, which also features David Yarnell on drums and Richard Marshall on bass, have been together for close to five years and Chris said the three piece set up suited their style.
“Sometimes you can overdo it and keeping it simple works. We’ve all had various influences over the years and now we’re pushing the boundaries,” he said.
Written at Top Banana in Redditch the band’s home town also features on their video, taking it to a worldwide audience.
