HEART of Worcestershire College (HoW College) is ‘wheelie’ pleased to announce that four of its automotive students have been offered jobs at Halfords Autocentre.
Following a practical based interview at HoW College’s Northbrook Automotive Centre, with two members of the Halfords Autocentre Team, students Anthony Hudson, Daniel How, Jack Raine and Emily Clarkson have all been offered conditional job placements.
The fantastic four will go on to undertake an induction and trial period with the company, with the hope that they will all pass with flying colours and gain employment.
Talking about the student’s success, HoW College’s head of centre-automotive technologies, Jonathan Stone said: “It has been an amazing opportunity for the students and I am really proud of what they have achieved. Going through a job interview can be a nerve racking experience but they all did extremely well which is evident in the fact they have been offered conditional job placements.”
HoW College is proud to have excellent links with local and national employers and strives to give all of its students the chance to gain experience in the workplace either alongside or on completion of their course.
