Redditch Beaver Scouts issue rallying cry for more volunteers to join

A RALLYING call has gone out for more adults to get involved with Redditch District Beaver Scouts.

The youngsters have just been celebrating the success of their latest venture, a mini trek around Morton Stanley Park in which the Beavers using navigation skills and a map to find different bases.

“The bases were manned by the Scout Active Support members of Redditch – parents and leaders – and without their support the activity could not have taken place,” said district Beaver Scout Leader Lesley Spencer.

The event was won by Beavers, Christopher, Cameron, Jasper, Rowan, Matthew and Lottie from 1st Redditch Scout Group.
