THE 11TH REDDITCH Rowan Beavers have donated £50 to the Primrose Hospice.
The cash was raised by members paying 10p each week for drinks and biscuits and the Beavers then chose which charity they wanted to donate to.
One of the Beavers suggested the Primrose Hospice as he and his family had recently used their worthwhile services – all the Beavers agreed.
Gabby Grubb, from the Primrose Hospice, visited the Beavers to collect the donation.
To date the colony has donated £4,478.45 to local charities through drinks money and sponsored events.
Gabby said: “A huge thank you to the 11th Redditch Rowan Beavers for their thoughtful donation to Primrose Hospice.
“It was such a pleasure meeting this fantastic group of young people, well done to them all for making such a positive impact in their local community.”
