REDDITCH BID - Borough's winners in the Business Awards are revealed

REDDITCH businesses got together last weekend to celebrate their success.

The Redditch Business awards honoured the remarkable accomplishments and innovations of businesses in the region.

Hosted at the elegant Palace Theatre, the event gathered a diverse group of entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and community supporters to recognize the hard work and dedication that define the Redditch business landscape.

Organised by Redditch BID, sponsor partners included Kingfisher Redditch, Redditch United, Heaphys Menswear, Reimagine Redditch, Worcestershire Growth Hub, Barclays, and Minuteman Press.

With a record-breaking number of nominees vying for accolades across multiple categories, the awards highlighted significant contributions to the local economy, entrepreneurial spirit, and community involvement.

Categories included best new business, excellence in customer service and coveted business of the year.

Muj Rahman, Redditch BID Manager, the visionary behind the organisation of the event, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the business community’s involvement: “We are absolutely delighted to celebrate the exceptional businesses in Redditch.

“The talent and commitment demonstrated by our nominees and winners are truly inspiring.

“This event underscores the resilience and vibrancy of our local economy and the strong community ties that bind us together.”

Astwood Smiles Nursery won Independent Business Award 2024, having made the shortlist for the past three years.

Olivia Waters, Astwood Smiles Director said: “We are over the moon to have been recognised and awarded Independent Business of the Year for 2024.

“Our community is the heart of what we do, and we feel privileged that we get to be a part of many families’ story. We have a wonderful team who all share in our passion to provide outstanding childcare for the children within our community.
