STAFF and customers at Redditch’s West Brom Building Society served up a tasty £3,500 last week, to support a mental health charity.
There was plenty of festive cheer at the Evesham Walk branch as they took part in the regional Christmas coffee and cake day in aid of The Kaleidoscope Plus Group charity.
Branches across the Midlands invited customers to join staff for a slice of cake and a cup of tea or coffee and helped raise £3,500 from the ‘Cake and Kindness’ event for the charity which aims to promote and support positive health and wellbeing.
Monica Shafaq from The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, said: “Mental health and wellbeing is something we should all take seriously and the backing from the West Brom is helping us to raise awareness, as well as provide the best care possible for our service users.”
