A REDDITCH burglar has been sentenced to nine months behind bars after appearing at court this week.
At Worcester Crown Court, Shaun Arnold, 49, of no fixed abode, admitted to three counts of burglary other than a home with intent to steal.
He was handed the nine-month term for those offences.
Arnold was also convicted of attempting to possess a controlled class A drug – heroin. For that, he was sentenced to one month in prison to run concurrently, meaning he will serve nine months in total. And he was fined £187 victim surcharge.
PC Mike Moore, of Redditch Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), said: “We are pleased to get a custodial sentence for Arnold whose actions have reaped financial harm on several businesses in the town.
“We hope this result shows we will always work with retail partners to protect them from criminals and prosecute when we can.”
