Redditch businesses close as mark of respect for the Queen

BUSINESSES across Redditch have announced they are set to close their doors or have alternate opening hours as a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth on Monday, September 19.

Supermarkets:

  • Aldi
  • Lidl
  • Morrisons – closing for 4 hours Including online click & collect)
  • Marks & Spencer
  • Sainsbury’s – including online groceries – some Sainsbury’s convenience stores and petrol stations will be open from 5pm to 10pm
  • Tesco – larger stores will close, including online, smaller Express shops will open at 5pm
  • Waitrose

  • The Royal Mail – suspended services
  • Apple Stores
  • Argos
  • Abbey Stadium Sports Centre
  • B&Q – click and collect and home delivery services will also be temporarily suspended on the day
