A CLASSIC car restoration business based in Redditch appeared on hit TV show Salvage Hunters this week.

Presenter Drew Prichard, who travels the length of the UK in search of weird and wonderful objects, visited Cape International at The Old Chocolate Factory on Pipers Road.

Cape International is an Austin Healey and Porsche restoration specialist.

General manager Steve Norton, who appeared on the show, said: “We manufacture, stock parts, design them and then we make the cars available for enthusiasts across the world.”

Steve can be seen negotiating with Drew over Austin Healey and British Motor Corporation memorabilia while also showing off some of the Austin Healeys undergoing repair.

Drew said: “Steve is my kindred spirit, he likes the same things that I do.

“There’s a large community of people out there who want auto memorabilia – so there is a market for it.”

You can tune in at 31:30 to find out more about the Salvage Hunters’ visit to Cape International and whether or not Drew made a purchase – http://www.dplay.co.uk/show/salvage-hunters/video/season-14-episode-14/EHD_226322B
