A REDDITCH car wash was raided by immigration enforcement officers after they received information of illegal workers.
The raid happened yesterday (Wednesday 9).
One Polish and one Hungarian national were encountered and found to be working without the right to undertake employment in the UK.
They were both detained and are pending removal.
A civil penalty referral notice was issued to the business for a maximum penalty of £20,000 for per person found to be working illegally.
A Home Office spokesperson said: “The government is tackling illegal immigration and the harm it causes by removing those with no right to be in the UK.
“We continue to work with law enforcement agencies to tackle illegal migration in all its forms.”
