A REDDITCH care home has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in a recent inspection.
The visit, which scrutinises various aspects of care provision, assessed Bowood Court across five key areas, checking if the home was safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The CQC report highlighted several areas of commendation including the enhanced safety measures for residents and the exemplary practices in moving and handling residents, showcasing care team competence and adherence to best practices.
The report noted the home prioritised person-centred care, with clear roles and responsibilities for managers and their team.
Bowood Court manager Tracy O’Sullivan said: “We are delighted to receive a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.
“While we celebrate this achievement, we are also committed to addressing the areas identified for improvement to further enhance the quality of care we provide to our residents.”
