REDDITCH Carers Careline says its support to carers will continue – albeit at the end of the phone.
Manager Fiona Mitchell said she had reluctantly decided to close their town centre office in the Ecumenical Centre and suspend their drop-in service.
However there would still be staff coming in ready to answer any calls from carers needing to hear a friendly voice or askign for help.
“I’m really upset that we are having to do this,” said Fiona.
“We have worked so hard to overcome isolation and I think a lot of the charities feel the same way as us.”
