REDDITCH Cat Rescue has received a welcome boost from big hearted members of the town’s Round Table.
The Tablers support both national and local charities and stepped in to swell the coffers of the local good cause after finding they rely solely upon voluntary contributions.
“We were moved by their efforts to help sick and abandoned cats and kittens, and their reliance on donations from the public – either of food or money – or from people who adopt the animals,” said Round Table chairman Dan Buckley.
“We were able to assist in a small way by providing funds to help feed the cats for a month, and hope in the future we may be able to do more.
“At Redditch Round Table we are always looking for ways to help our community, and if you know of any projects or charities and groups that could benefit from our support please do get in touch.”
