REDDITCH residents can show their patriotism and enjoy an evening of entertainment at the end of April in honour of the Queen’s 90th Birthday.
The festivities will begin on Thursday, April 21 at the Bandstand on Church Green from 6.15pm.
The Salvation Army Band will kick off proceedings, treating guests to a performance between 6.15pm and 7.15pm before Bel Canto Choir tune up for their rendition from 7.15pm to 7.30pm.
Following the performances, the official HM Queen Elizabeth II 90th Birthday Beacon will be lit at 7.30pm.
Val Wilson, arts and events officer, said: “Official beacons are going to be lit up and down the country on April 21 in honour of her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday.
“We are proud that Redditch will play its part in the occasion and hope to see lots of residents and visitors celebrating with us.”
